RE: Changing tire sizes ???

The change will be an increase in tire diameter of 32 mm, not enough to make any difference. Just make sure you don't lose any load rating.

RE: Help with replacing leaky hose on water heater

Pex can also be repaired with Shark Bite fittings found at Lowe's and Home Depot. They do not require a crimper and work well in close quarters.

RE: Carrier Heat Pump Remote T'stat

I had the same issue. I installed a wall-mounted Lux150 thermostat for heater control. The A/C is still controlled by the remote. The Carrier ceiling unit can be replaced, which will allow for both the heater and A/C to be controled by the wall-mounted thermostat.

RE: OK, where do I start to look first, and KISS it please..

There should be a breaker in or near your battery compartment that the positive (red) cable bolts to. You could jump it for testing, or just replace it with a like rated unit from an auto parts store.

RE: Removing Porch Light Lens (How To?)

Mine has two tabs on top and one in the center on the bottom. I squeezed the bottom of the lens in the middle and lifted it out, bottom first.

RE: Woodalls portal

I'm having the same problem. Actually, they were down for quite a spell(days) and I couldn't even access the site. I haven't been able to log-on since they finally did come back on line.

Should Tip Outs be left out for the winter? Snow could be a problem, I,m worried about snow load.. Do you have an actual tip-out or is it a slide-out?

RE: 5TH Hitch Latch Opening By Itself

I have a Pro-Series 15K, Kwik-Slide that has worked flawlessly for almost seven yeare now. The spring loaded locking handle has a lot of pressure that holds the locking bar firmly in place. If your hitch did that of its own volition, there is definitely something amiss with your hitch.

RE: prodigy maxed out and won't stop 5er

Very likely that the brakes are out of adjustment after the repack.

RE: status panel indicator for waste, water, battery, water pump

Battery status should. Also, one side of the pump switch. A 12V test light or multimeter will tell you which wire.

RE: 8.1 GMC Check Engine Light

My recent Check Engine light turned out to be lit because of a dirty MAF (mass air flow) sensor. I had it cleaned at the shop using special MAF solvent made for that specific purpose, which is very important. The engine ran much better after that was done.

RE: Landing gear down when parked overnight to sleep?

I put them down for an overnight sleep. How far depends on the levelness of the 5er.I also lower the rear stabilizers.
